The Directors of the Board do not support Mr McKerlie’s election as a Director and
unanimously recommend that Shareholders do not vote in favour of this resolution.
Having regard to the unsolicited off-market takeover offer announced by Drillsearch (Central) Pty
Limited on 4 October 2012, the Directors do not consider the appointment of Mr McKerlie, the
Chairman of Drillsearch Energy Limited, to be appropriate in the context of the announced
takeover bid, the outcome of which remains unknown as at the date of publication of this Notice.
