You're making the same mistake that many of Amazon's competitors have made by suggesting you'd only be terrified if you were a pure online retailer but Amazon have stated that it is going to destroy the retail 'environment' in Australia... Think AI, AR, and VR applications that the global technology 'disrupter' may already be planning for its own chain of Furniture and Appliance showrooms right across the country which potentially could be 100 times smaller than the average Harvey Norman showroom with 100 times more product selection, 1-2 day free delivery, and at a significant discount to existing bricks and mortar players... A simple google search under Amazon Furniture should help fill in any gaps...
