I take that to mean as a franchisee you don't get the occassional chance to meet face to face with them?
Seems silly not get face to face with your franchisees at least every once and a while for feedback and suggestions.

Another point about currency, you correctly pointed out a correction to 70c USD is hardly a show stopper as far as internet shopping goes BUT the Euro is probably going run a long way up compared to the AUD over the next several years as deflation sinks in, so whilst i agree that Irish operations have not bottomed per se, i see the currency revaluations more than making up for what's lost in the short term ie: another 10-20% drop in the realestate prices there (which is not overly likely considering how far it's tanked already) would be more than offset by a 40% drop in AUD.
The very same reason i see US, Spanish, Irish and Greek properties(mainly residential for it's safety) as the best value buying now.
All of these markets will most likely fall a little more but when currency revaluation takes place it will still leave you with a positive result and you would be holding at the bottom, the ground floor for the next boom.

Ps: take out prop up spending by our government over the last year and our GDP is negative for the YEAR.
