Interestingly I am glad this subject came up because I dragged out the papers from last year to reacquaint myself with the calculations and hey presto I found the calculations on GST Insurance and Luxury tax were all calculated wrongly. One in my favour due to currency and two in favour of government - can't believe I missed the error (some quotes were in AUD and some in USD and they mixed them up) so will have to chase it up to see how much the error is. Probably too eager to collect my toy.
And you are right I was not with HVN but with an oil company.And gee looking at what I now know about franchise, I would probably be too nervous to climb into the cage with franchisors again lol. But it was undoubtedly the best investment I made and was incredibly good to me financially while I was there. It was one play I won handsomely - pity all my shares aren't likewise.
