It's not the way I read the situation in regards to DT's comments at the AGM. Personally, it looked to me like the media exaggerated this aspect. After all, sensationalism sells.
The point is that it was clearly a very emotionally charged situation, and one would hope that DT and AAD were eventually able to reach out to the families and provide the support that was needed. Where is the value in casting dispersions on individuals in such a sensitive and emotional situation? Why not at least offer people the benefit of the doubt?
The coronial inquiry will apportion blame, if there is any. We do not need to. Ask yourself, what if it was just a terrible accident? What if DT was sincere in her comments? The forensic process is in play, let it unfold- we will see the results soon enough.
As to the commercial viability of Ardent, have a read through the transcript of the AGM and the recent annual report. The company is very solid. This will have an impact, sure, but it will be absorbed.
