the options themselves may be 'in-the-money'. that is, exercising the options is cheaper than buying shares on market
MNSO options have a strike price of 10 cents. MNS is currently priced at 65 cents
MNSO traded as high as $1
if you bought MNSO at $1, you are out of the money (even though the options themselves are in-the-money)
there is a difference between when the options & you are in or out of the money
who cares about the definitions
