Yes, you and others have lately been commenting on the so called competition ie Aldi to WOW and Coles.

Some also have been highlighting that the competition from Aldi has been a boon to shoppers because of the lower prices especially at Aldi and the pressure that puts on Coles WOW.

But as I have always posted Aldi is a con, that is dumbing down Australian consumers.

The end result will be what Dick Smith has plainly put to the Media in the article. imo

Imagine if WOW or Coles or both disappear and don't think IGA will last.
Like Smith I believe one will go.

Aldi, perhaps Lidi, Amazon are the players in Australia along with either WOW, Coles.

Everyone needs to stop and think about this using their brains, not their wallets to determine the impact for all Australians if the scenario plays out in the future! imo

I don't want that scenario in any form especially if it means lower quality products are to the fore! More food additives, more preservatives, more sugar etc. imo

I know its a desperate and changing World but surely we as Australians cannot sit back and let a German Family take our money back to Germany. We are letting them rob us blind so to speak.

I have been in an Aldi shop once and once only, bought a packet of biscuits just to check them out, man, if what I saw was the future then leave me out. A Store run at the bearest minimum just to take our money out of the Country while destroying thousands of jobs at WOW, Coles.

Sure some on here have been correct about WOW and the disgraceful Management of the Company, brought about by complacency within the limited competition.

I don't mind competition, its good and healthy but

Aldi is not a good example of competition which many believe on here with Aldi content in their posts.

What I'm trying to get at is the future with Aldi needs to be seen for what it will be.

In that I say don't shop at Aldi, do the right thing by Australians and make WOW, Coles, IGA etc the first choice shop.

Do yourself and others a favour.

Sorry to be repetitive but I'm passionate about what will happen. Blind Freddy can see it! imo
