workers dont buy jam, hasnt been on my household shopping list for 30 years, and what subsidy does the primary producer receive, what is the fruit content what is the exchange rate, what about all the cottage industry jam, unions are not in anyway responsible for the price of jam, home industry would take a bigger slice or alternatively how many people on the land make jam, farmers already pay for packaging it goes to market packaged, personally I buy frozen because of the stringent requirements for processing, in any case when our dollar drops you will really have something to whine about as our primary produce goes to the export market and the cost of living climbs impacting the value of homes because of the incumbent indebt unable to service as the int rate rises.
fortunately having little debt its not likely to impact me personally
