There are pros and cons with holding either.
Pros of DGR vs Subs
1. Diversification. -albeit moslty in a exploration context, but this is changing. And pretty awesome diversification if you consider SOLG will be gobbled up. -and of course we cant know this for certain, but history and about 10 other factors tell us this will happen and not if but when. DGR mkt cap pretty much equal to SOLG holdings nothing else really factored in. Other subs are looking to the future, we have an abundance of lithium targets, oil and gas, gold, iron, tin, cobalt, titanium, bauxite, nickel, its a whose who of future metals to go with our copper.
2. We trade at less half 1/2 our NTA. Its a joke and could lead to some explosive price gains in the future.
Better to hold subs?
Well with the subs you have less diversification (perhaps not so much for IRR a beast in its own right-).
The subs are not subject to the same price gouging, perhaps one less tier anyway, also subs have the backing of DGR to some extent. This is still the $24,000 question in my mind, i.e how generous is Mather to his employees with our scrip? Honestly I cant tell you, but from a laymens perspective neither can the down rampers here (which is why I call them down rampers- they dont outline the numbers in regards the aformentioned assertions scrip recklessness very effectively). I feel almost as if the downrampers on this stock understand the chart dynamic and will arrive here at some stage, but their timing will be somewhat more impeccable than my own!! (All imo)
Basically I believe DGR is something of a traders stock. People are perhaps aware of the price dynamics with DGR, the lack of investor interest, the fact that Mather might have burnt retailers in the past. And with the lack of investor interest in the market right now- like you can seriously just wait for the annoucements to drop on small cap resource stocks right now and the mkt will get around to pricing things correctly at some future date... well thats how it all feels to me.
basically I hold a bunch of DGR and a bunch of DHR Im a huge bull on plus my free carry on ANW.... the bottom of which I correctly picked.
Wont be selling either. To many possibilities for left field annoucements from all these, but especially the case for DGR..
Very very exciting
If you believe in copper, and you believe in the cycle, and you believe in scale then you offset a lot of your
