Ok i was being a little bit tongue in cheek with my question.

Yes the Orbis special div was 0.0025/share x 550mil (roughly) shares or around $1.4mil paid out from the $26mil gross sale proceeds (pre tax), so yeah i calc the same, around 8 - 10% of the after tax proceeds. Exactly right that if the same happened with SOLG it would mean only around 2c per share div to DGR shareholders. That's the base I think anyway, and obviously as you say many variables that could dramatically alter that outcome, hopefully for the better.

Investing some of the Orbis proceeds into SOLG & IRR have been proven great moves, so I too am backing NM & teams to ultimately create value for us. ANW & AJQ will probably/maybe turn out ok in time, Coolgarra was an exciting surprise also.
