Thanks SonoI know that in reality events don't happen like a powerpoint page, there are discussions going on all the time between multiple parties at multiple stages during negotiations. I feel like if the MD knows what the DFS contains, that it allows for more power at the negotiating table. I totally agree on how the market should be notified. I just see confidential negotiations as outside this scope-i could be way off base though so all IMO.
I would prefer a cautious and well thought out approach-but sentiment has changed so often in this space that securing a quality deal has to be balanced with a sense of urgency.
