You're right, the CYT request does NOT involve a liquidation. It simply fails to state how much money they want to hang on to keep things going and how they come up with that figure. Surely you can't be serious when you suggest all is ok because "the announcement references these points but does not expanded upon them". Ummm, don't you think a bit of expanding on those points might be warranted?

That, of course, adds to their failure to explain how much they will guarantee per shareholder if everyone wants their money back at once.

It also fails to explain when that money will be received. Will it be years down the track after various legal actions? Be just great to get hold of your money in 2 years AFTER the sharemarket has bounced back.

It also fails to provide any information (eg legal advice) to support your view that the Cellgate contract poses no problems.

I understand the temptation in labeling things as scare tactics and the like and declaring directors to be fools etc etc, but really, is that the best defense you have - to just say, "don't worry about the problems that have been detailed, I think it will be ok", even though the new mob have said nothing definitive about them?

The Cytopia raiding party should cover those sort of details - particularly when they were raised prior to their own announcement. They should certainly not simply say nothing and leave it to HC contributors such as yourself to hope for the best based on nothing more than "I reckon....".

I'm no apologist for AVX (check my posts on AVX if you like), but this is a shonky shonky proposal. Remember that it sounds like Cytopia already tried to hook up with PGL last year and got shown they door because of how little benefit there was. Let's see a detailed proposal.
