    Yeah China's a big market, same with India, but currently 70 percent of  desalination market is in the middle east.

    It will be interesting how they go about marketing Ionics graphene membrane/s, in this market IMO.

    If one looks at just Saudi Arabia, they use a lot of Multi Stage Flash Desalination and Multi Effect Desalination, together with some Reverse Osmosis.

    Currently they use circa 25 percent of their oil & gas on water desalination, its projected to reach 50 percent by 2030 .

    Given Ionics Graphene Membrane uses nine times less energy, to produce clean drinking water, there's a massive market waiting for us in the middle east IMO.


    I'm not sure about the geopolitical implications  in dealing with the Saudis however.
