    Hi Entropylord,

You are right with your vision of STU and comparing it with COE before COE had its run.
I saw the value in COE all along and kept holding , when Scott bought a huge amount on market , I followed him and topped up myself.
It has been well worth it, but at the time I have been laughed at by various posters who continiuesly pointed out the low reserves.
We know who was right today.
In the meantime I agree that COE is more risky these days and can be a good trade, although its not easy to put big volumes thru.
I am holding and expect some success from the Cooper drilling to underpinn the share price towards the drilling of Madura.
The reward of Madura is to high to pass by and I will keep holding some of my holding thru the drilling.

With STU a simmilar story is happening, I have put out valuations but not many seem to agree with them.
I believe in my $2 target and with some good results beyond this, and can wait 12 months for this.

Stuart will be very busy in the next 12 months and will have its hands full on their drilling schedule and field developments.
But who knows Tino may get a good deal which he can not refuse and jump outside the Cooper for the first time.
Time will tell but I feel it will not happen too soon.
Looking at diesel prices around Sydney I feel the refinery is the way to go to add extra value and I am glad that Management can look beyond their traditional means to extract added value for the company and shareholders.

To go to your question about explorers versus producers, I believe producers are the way to go.
Most producers are still exploring so you have the safety of income and upside from exploration.
My only explorer in my portfolio has been HDR and we all know what a disaster that has been.
But I am holding as 15000 bod is too good to let go and the problems in Mauretania will be resolved imho.

So Stuart will stay in my portfolio for some time to come and I look forward to see the results of the next drilling round.
We certainly will not get bored with STU in the next couple of months.

But oil prices have to stay with us , if we want to see the above bearing fruit.

    jojo
