That is in PNG where some legislation was proposed, but is apparently highly unlikely to be passed (see FNT thread), but is essentially like a land rights bill.
We however are on the Indonesian side of the border where mining laws have been simplified, albeit with the restriction that our Indonesian partner must hold 20% equity in the properties. Hope that helps - I am sure someone else will be able to explain fa better than me.
I am only relatively new to this stock - have watched it for years but was put off by its link with MLI. Now that that is gone the brakes should come off - fingers crossed
