Some good healthy skepticism there based on good facts. I like it. And yes people do get carried away, one only has to look at where the SP is today from yesterday. Do you hold, haven't seen you on the thread before?

    Epitanman:

I agree. BOS is a true "platform" technology with virtually unlimited applications. The competition is only becoming more ineffective, and eventually will become redundant. Results such as the bonding efforts to food packaging ie "glad wrap" etc with euro company Novamont SpA are due soon. This was announced in August 2007 and a "fast track" proposed. That would be a gold mine in itself.
Also CIBA was conducting further trials with its permanent bonding to PVC. Imagine if the compounds were found to be permanently effective in this stuff? It would go in every new drain, toilet and sewage pipe on the planet to stop that green goo build up. I also saw an old BOS picture of a treated vs untreated toilet which looked pretty good. The treated one I mean. It could be put into the urinal cakes and the toilet fresheners to prevent biofilm buildups. I think there was already an effort in this area? Possibly with the Japanese again.

    Boppy:

It's true that the dental results are just a plus for the company with no downside. It's added value for free.

Personally, I think the technology is so valuable that it will eventually get to market through necessity if anything, might just see some share dilution till then as more funds are raised. But by the same measure, all the time we're getting closer to pay day and hence shares are becoming more valuable.

The fact that the market goes wild on good news then sells off like crazy shows just how people are unable to grasp the long term potential. But we need these clowns for our stockmarket circus to run! Most biotechs have one or two products in the pipeline, often with competition and smaller markets. BOS has a proven technology ready for global multi billion dollar markets that is simply in the process of being formulated into products. Pretty darn low risk for such high reward if you ask me. Especially at this ridiculously low market cap. Just the patents on this stuff would be worth multiples IMO. Wonder what a massive pharma would pay for the rights to develop the compounds for a drug? Ahh well, let the clowns chase their short term SP gains while we sit on this one for the long term. I am confident that my meagre holding will grow to something unbelievable one day. I'm two years in.. Another two years and on will be very interesting indeed.
