The Irish border is a bigger issue there than it would seem to us.
Enjoyed a road trip through Ireland, seeing where some ancestors lived.
Crossed into the north.
Lunched with officials at (London)Derry.
The graffiti on walls, the them and us.
Protestant areas and Catholic areas.
It is a sad place.
Beyond the pubs, good food, scenery.
Never ever anywhere else in the world have I been asked three times in a day:
"are you a catholic"
