Surely a quick phone call will reveal whether any Bakrie/Pax projects are delayed due to location in conservation area issues.

From previous Jakarta Post news, SBY has decreed that mining may take place in conservation areas so long as there is a land swap or land rehabilitation program in place to maintain the same area of conservation as before. PT Dairi Prima is in this category with their zinc mine, Bakrie/Pax Dairi Prima Geothermal project is also located in a conservation area.

The same Minister oversees both Mining and Energy portfolios btw, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Jero Wacik.

From Jakarta Post Nov 2011, Here is a list of 28 geothermal projects in conservation areas that were listed as being subject to a study system between the Forests Minister and the Mining and Energy Minister so they could be approved 1 - 7 months without delays.

The 28 peojects were located at Lumit Balai, Sarulla, Karaha, Telaga Ngebel, Bedugul, Gunung Ungaran, Gunung Rajabasa, Rauntau Dedap, Gunung Tampomas, Hu`u Daha, Sorik Merapi., Sokaria.

Also at Tangkuban Perahu, Balwen Ijen, Baturaden, , Wayang Windu, Patuha, Dieng, Kaldera Danau Banten, Cisolok Sukarame, Lili Panangawan, Sungai Penuh, Hululais, Kamojang 5 and 6, Sibayak, Iyang Argopuro, Kotamobagu and Darajat.

That shows Telaga Ngebel which is PT Bakrie Power project 55 Mw.

AFAIK Sokoria is not in a conservation area.
