From what I understand, Goldcorp is still contractually a partner in the project even thu they opted not to contribute financially to the project development. Many big gold miners have changed their valuations of junior miners. At the time GC walked away from further involvement in Cerro, the gold price could be around US$500--just from my memory. But now gold and silver prices have changed dramatically. What Dudley hope for may not be applicable now. As I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, GC has a mine in Mexico that is almost equivalent to the grades we have in Cerro. Mines that are about to be producing are tempting morsels. Maybe, GC needed this feasibilty to cement their decision one way or the other. Personally, I think the studies could be with GC and CJO management cannot give any concrete timing of its release until the feedback from GC. Anyway, it is not long to go.
