The BoD will have considered this option.  The Spaniards are fiercely proud people and presented with insults or a 'take it or leave it' binary option would likely let it go just to assert their mastery.

I don't think Adani helps its cause with confrontation.  It probably has few other options, given the strength of opposition to its project. 

Have another sangria.  You may not feel better, but it will help pass the time.
