"...this is the last thing McCrae would have wanted to do"

    On that particular day!

In my opinion all he neede was a "full stop" announcement...enough the halt the slide and return some degree of stability (lol) and support to the stock!

No need wasting a good announcement on a highly reactive amarket...he wanted a bounce and for support to form, nothing more, nothing less.

Personally, I think it may have bounced a little quicker and higher than many may have expected...which is possibly why it fell slightly on Friday, interestingly however, it pretty much consolidated the rise on solid volumes, suggesting it may almost be ready for the next annoouncment induced rise.

Plenty of these to come in my opinion, so if well managed, the information flow should result in ongoing interest and rising share prices.

I have a word of advice for everyone...plot the charts on both a daily and weekly basis, taking notice of the blow-off nature of the volume spike of the last week...and then turn the chart upside down!

We have effectuvley seen the reverse of a blow-off top spike...and just as such spike usually see a retraces to previous lows, the reverse as the case is here, should result in a return to the recent highs!

It may not happen every day, but I suspect it will eventually happen.

    Cheers!
