Blooreeler, I’ve had a few days over the last 30 odd years were the conditions were glassy like the day I took these pics but with a 2-3 metre swell running and these little “Spinner Dolphins “ are jumping out of waves trying to catch the sun.
I could only guess at the numbers but they went as far as I could see and they were there for a good 6 hours.
Plus a friend who was fishing 10 miles south of me had the same experience that day.
It had to thousands of individuals and ranks as one of the best deep water sights, for me
