Rate of return for wells is far higher than for buying back shares. IMHO only
However, Malay, your point of "tightening the register" is well taken. AOK has beleived for a long time that there are too many shares is loose hands in Australia. Hands that do not value North American oilers fairly. There is a mechanism where shares can be moved from the ASX to he TSX when they list there. I think you will see the tightening achieved that way.
