Ummm, the ICE killed off the electric vehicles, which date from the 1830s.
Nothing’s going to happen until there are very, very cheap batteries or batteries that last thirty years or more. At the moment they’re far too expensive and short lived for people to be able to afford one set for the car, let alone a second set to store solar energy so it can be transferred to the car at night.
