Death of ICE cars/trucks is certain - only timing is up for grabs.
economics of parts supply and fuel will finish old cars plus legislation changes - those alone will probably see them gone in 20 years .
on top of that will be the move to self drive - which will also bring economic pressure and more legislation changes.
my guess is the era will be over within 2 decades
