Hi Mitchum
You could be right about new battery tech at some point in the future, but lithium batteries have well and truly stolen the race. There's a slew of emerging alternative battery tech peeking through the clouds, but it would take a decade or more for a contender to become a commercial reality, given time delays to prove, develop, mine the required raw product and re-tool gigafactorie's and EV manufacture. In the meantime lithium batteries are set to improve efficiency and prices will drop exponentially with increased demand. So alternative tech will have to play catch-up from way behind the starting line. Lithium hasn't even started to peak yet and it'll be a long time before its superseded - if ever. For what its worth I think we've got a ten year bus ride before anyone has to consider jumping off - provided you choose a rock-solid lithium stock. In any case, all the best with your strategy, lithium or other.
