g41 - the ann was noticed, but some smarties waited to see if the excitement would die down to get in. Traders wanted to see the post announcement dip bought, to feel secure that it wouldn't retrace back to 4.5 cents and be stuck there.
Also you have people randomly checking out stocks in certain sectors, and noticing the previous ann. All for the good!
