    You also have to remember, while China may begin to slow down over the coming years, they are slowing down from great highs. It's like asking me to run against Usain Bolt, he could slow down to half pace, he's still going to beat me. China may slow down their growth profile, but they are likely to still be going at a faster rate then most developed economies.

    This is also neglecting India and Brazil. Both of whom are indicating that they too would like to follow the same growth path of China and undertake massive development.

    The other point is that yes, Australia / Australian companies may be developing into controlling a very large portion of global IO. But they will not do so to the detriment of their own margins. They may compete in terms of who can produce the most and profit the most etc, but I highly doubt they would price compete and produce large excess and push the prices down.

    These large companies will collude and monitor their output to ensure that IO prices don't drop 50% in a short space of time.

    IO prices might go lower, but I don't see it collapsing due to a supply/demand shift.
