I can relate Funkboi...i have had a few shockers also...i purchased some IPL on the day before they dropped over 30%...then topped up and averaged down...only because i believe the fundamentals of the stock will bring the SP back up in the longer term...if you think the same about MGR then i would also be doing that...
My only concern about the listed property companies like MGR at the moment is that with property prices likely to fall over the next year...asset revaluations are likely to be downwards and put pressure on the SP...This is unfortunately an inevitable outcome...
I have been watching MGR for a while but will hold off a bit longer before i buy....maybe at the end of the year...
