I used to work offshore for an oil & gas company.

I have heard they are now moving to battery storage to start replacing their gas turbines for power generation due to cheaper maintenance etc and have already replaced one.

Never thought that would happen on an oil & gas platform.

Same story for the military I'm working for now.

Replacing diesel power generation for battery due to cheaper maintenance & reliability is just another huge segment of the market happening already
