Street Talk hears that Japan’s Sojitz, which has ground next to Endocoal’s Orion Downs project, is the party that put forward the 60¢. Said to be off the mark is talk that Xstrata, owner of the neighbouring Rolleston mine, was also keen on bidding.
Also goes on to say that managemnent and board unwilling to sell for 60 cents.
