What I found when I owned a horse was the rediculous Vet Fees.
Its one thing what the Vet charges....Outlandish....... but Its another if the Vet even attends to your horse and you get Vet charges.!!!!
Its not hard for a trainer to add a few vet fees here and there. A Vitamin injection here, A vitamin injection there. Bang 200/300/400 extra for that month. I was part owner of the healthiest horse alive, going on the supposed Vet Fees but it couldn't win enough to cover its training fees. We owners kept footing the bill to keep the poor bast#rd living a life of luxury along with the Trainer, Vet etc lol
and dont let me start on the betting rorts that are becoming more and more blatantly obvious. imo
