On a separate note, I was in a Harvey Norman store the other and, while waiting for my wife, I meandered over to the television section.
One of the televisions was (somewhat bizarrely) tuned to the Sky Business channel, on which I heard some or other talking head referring to WOR as a potential buying opportunity, because ".. things are going really well for the company right now."
Given that it has been proved many times that the best time to buy deep cyclical businesses such as WOR is not when things are "going well", but when things are, in fact, going badly, it occurred to me that I had probably just encountered a very compelling reason for selling WOR.... namely, when the herd starts fawning all over the stock (the same herd who was selling it when it was selling it some 2.5 years ago when it was one-third of its current value).
