Not sure what is that iconic about WorleyParsons; it is little more than a large-scale enterprise which has a degree of design and consulting IP that is applicable to the upstream energy sector.
But other than its global scale, most of the services WOR provides is somewhat commoditised in nature.
But nothing WOR does is of such a nature that would even subject it to national interest tests, let alone fail such tests.
No, I am certain that if some international entity made a takeover bid for Worley, FIRB wouldn't even so much as blink.
