    So it looks like Vale was trying to increase their production of IO in one of the areas where ONE of the dams burst.
    Three dams burst in total, one was a tailing's dam which is where they store IO waste. 

    It is completely unacceptable how Vale operates in such a diverse ecological environment with now over 400 people missing and potential of having water ways, farm land contaminated.  
    I also think this will effect licences in the mean time which could put the licence off for Salobo. 
    This could also mean that other major mining companies must step in to take over operations of some of Vales projects. If the government goes down that path. 

    These are only my thoughts of what I think of the situation, I could be completely wrong.
