I agree, point 4 seems like a real and stark reality. The more I read and listen, the more cynical (if such a thing were possible) I become.
A colleague and friend based in WA recently attended the State Government / Western Power session at GHD. The next day, knowing my love hate relationship as a relatively long standing holder, he was smug in advising me that Alannah Mactiernnan apparently addressed the congregation about Albany but conceded the current government still felt wave is 20 years off!!!
20 years? Well you can imagine that got me slightly frustrated. 20 YEARS???
Has CCE ever spoken to the market about real timeframes to genuine commercialisation? I’m not talking about Albany because that is starting to look like a complete farce. 20MW? Bullshit! 100MW? Bullshit!
This media is not positive. The angst in the WA parliament is worrying. Something is not right. Some things right now just don’t add up.
What are people’s thoughts?
2 years?
5 years?
10 years?
I was thinking 7 years, 5 years ago... now I concede I really don’t know.

No one knows , even Mr MO.
If one was cynical you would say they are milking the "cow".
After 10 years + and Ceto 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ?, 7? there comes a time when they have to admit its not doable.
Or maybe it is doable and commercially viable ???
ATM no one knows !
