Personally I wouldn't mind NST picking up Newmont's Callie mine in the Tanami, would not come cheap but would add 425k - 475k oz of gold production per year and offers long mine life, low production cost and is in the right location. NST would most likely hit all it's long term targets relating to, gold production, ore reserves and resources in one hit, and offer massive upside should you believe that gold will be trading at higher prices than at present.
