    I still think a takeover of NST by one of the majors like Barrack is better option... either to convert shares or just sell out. Dividends as % yield is usually too low . Barrack already operate in Karlgoorlie (50%) share on one of their mines, they could simply takeover NST as one of their competitors and wouldn't even break too much of sweat on their balance sheet as their Q2 net earnings was just above $1B USD.

    Yes - I think that question you mentioned (ie: What you going to do with all that $$) will be asked, but I don't think they'll answer that on conference day. If they want to be strategic about it, no need to show your hand .

    It's always easier to take over small targets and build it up (which is what NST did back in the days). Now that NST has shown its potential (with the increased reserves) - other players could consider NST a takeover target to mine its potential....
