Bought a small parcel recently, because the share price has pulled back to (what I think is) a reasonable level.

Another reason I bought is that one of their biggest Australian competitors, Helloworld (formally Harvey World Travel), looks to me to be destroying their franchise through this rebranding. Everyone knew Harvey World, but Helloworld?? The new brand seems to have virtually no promotion, and their in store wimdow advertising looks very weak. Earlier this year, we booked on overseas holiday through a Harvey World branch, just as they were transitioning to Helloworld. The travel agent said people would wander in saying they had a holiday booked through Harvey World, and wondered if they had disappeared. Seems to me like a poor way to look after existing customers. With a solid competitor like FLT, I don't think any travel firm can afford to slip up. I know the overseas operations of FLT are quite significant these days, but it looks to me Helloworld are giving FLT a free kick in the local market....just my observation, and not necessarily supported ny the cold, hard numbers. Guess we'll see in due course.
