I agree it's being played, and it's not the first time it's been mentioned.
And at a support level, as in right now, it may get played even harder.
But that's not necessarily a bad thing, in my experience, it's a sign instos are working actively at these levels.
I don't know how you see the depth, but the way I'm looking at it, offers 40, 41, 42 may all be suspicious since it's all one seller.
40 is probably legit since it's the best offer, can get hit any time.
41 small random sum, probably also legit.
42, round number, only seller here, definitely sus and may pull if price hits through 41. Let's see.
Bids 37, 38, 39 are comprised of 4+ buyers each. So it is less likely those bids are fake/spoofing, maybe one or two of those orders possibly but unlikely all of them. And to do a complete U-turn, that's not to say instos can't break down one large order into 4 orders at the same bid price. So, it could be all fake in the end...who knows.
