Hey Godlike, i have been in the mining industry for 34 years and still am. Spent many a year all up and down the Gt Northern Hwy between Wubin and Newman and worked on just about every mine in the area.
Your right exploration is about finding new targets and developing a project and that's why you would have to ask why the previous board some you are still involved squandered most of the capital they had on exorberent salaries and fees if this project had so much potential.
Sage doesn't mine anything and if you research his history he produces very little if not anything, generally he inherits his projects from "mates".
Saying that he is in the business of making money, if this was a serious venture then don't you thing serious players would have been knocking at the door trying to buy this for the pittance that it went for.
It was gifted to a failed lobster farmer you also happens to be a stockbroker who if history has anything to go buy will fail dismally again will undoubtedly make a nice little wage out of this without producing an ounce of gold as this field has in the past.
If I'm missing something in the glorious history of Paynes Find Gold then please enlighten me.
Facts are these guys don't have the cash or the knowledge and experience to be serious gold miners.
