It seems the Canadian Market value Charlie Creek more highly than the Australian Market. On the Canadian market experience CUX's share price should be aprox 50% higher on the Australian Market.
So much for the belief of some which say the market always gets it right. I would say in response, which market and when?
IMHO it would indicate that the sceptism to CUX of the Australian market gives an additional potential to Australian investors.
Below are my calculations for the above assertions.
I saw this morning that PUC's share price closed at 10 cents an increase of over 11% for the day. Yahoo's graph states that PUC's share price has increased 50% over the past, month.
It is my belief that the only real asset PUC has is the 45% share of the Charlie Creek assests. So for the benefit of this exercise I will assume that both CUX and PUC only have the Charlie Creek Assests.
Currency
On Yahoo's currency converter 10 cents Canadian is equivalent to 9.46 cents Australian.
Market Capitalisation
CUX = 167,629,043 Ordinary Shares x 3 cents
= close enough to $5 million
PUC = $6.26 million CAD (From Yahoo: http://au.finance.yahoo.com/q?s=PUC.V) or 5.92 million AUD (2 Significant figures)
Therefore, if the Australian market valued CUX in the same manner as the Canadian market theoretically CUX should have a market cap of $7.24 million or over 4.3 cents.
