Oh dear Lois, calm down LOL!
You've made a goose of it - accept it, learn from it. You're not a newbie but you need to move up a level. Move from the superficial to the deeper understanding.
I realise a mechanical drawer doesn't get many chances to unshackle themselves from the drawing board. Not to worry. That's the beauty of cyberspace. I can reach out to you, help you, be you guide. I am altrustic that way.
For instance you have a level 101 understanding of organic growth. Let me help you with the 102 level understanding.
Organisations sometimes try to present growth as organic when it really isn't. They use accounting methods such as splitting assets into separate companies, declaring large intangibles that are fictitious licences or market/geographical share and other devious tricks.
There is little actual wealth creation, from innovation, synergies or development of specialised skills. There is only the appearance of growth by acquisition (ABC Learning) or by capital expenditure that doesn't create wealth becuase it is funded by debt or dilution. Such growth is often called organic and people are fooled.
If you can follow part one I may continue with part two time permitting.
Lol!!
