I think people are misunderstanding what bots really do. They are usually market makers or they are agency traders (i.e. a broker is selling for someone with a large parcel and don't want to tip over the market). This conspiracy about bots pushing over prices then buy them back at a lower price... if a bot push over the price by selling then it will push the price up when buying back the same parcel. All the 1 stock sales are actually a market maker trying to find liquidity
