nttrader -- im not very qualified to speak about management & their practices (or malpractices), but ALY has a graph very similar to TLM (whom have a fantastic management team according to many bloggers). only real difference is in the past month where TLM have risen whereas ALY remains constant.

I think this meteoric rise is due to the "nearology" theory whereby investors were investing shares in the narracoota formation and using ASX listed companies to do so. The prices had be volatile and had to fall - all spec stocks fall. Perhaps it wasnt a byproduct of mismanagement afterall.

U cant make day traders long term shareholders very often and I reckon it was the short term traders in control of ALY in last quarter of 2009. I think they will return in a big way once 1st drill results are through. MACD starting to tend towards the positiva also.

Perhaps you can elaborate on your position with ALY management.
