"The rise is unremarkable if you look at the chart." I mean how far back? In Feb 2017 (15p) or further back in Feb 2017 (1.63p) or at listing of 10p? Or just at the all time high?
I suggest that most people would look at the quantum of the excellent drilling results released yesterday that contributed to the gain, but whatever suits your agenda!
As for a money sinking liability, IRR still have cash and DGR are in no way obligated to fund them.
Just a reminder to all that DGR created and floated IRR for 10p at a historical cost of $1.1m AUD at the time of listing. They have participated in a further raising at 35p in 2017 bringing their all in cost to under $5m AUD.
Although currently 35p seems on the high side, DGR essentially funded it by placing CN's to Tribeca at 20c.
DGR's investment alone in IRR is currently worth ~$25m AUD.
