TXN seems interesting at the moment. Looking at the price, recent chart and depth you'd think something was wrong, but I'm figuring a lot of people bought in around a month ago hoping for a better offer or a quick trade, and now that it seems more likely we're just going to get one for two with SEA, the excitement which took us to around 42c is gone and looks unlikely to return in the very near future (unless we get a better offer) many are trading out and chasing other rainbows. With obvious reasons to buy over the last few weeks and that reason to sell now, the selling pressure is explained. Looking just outside the current situation it looks like now is a great time to be buying TXN while there is a lull in excitement between the initial news and either the deal going through or perhaps a better offer.

Taking into account TXN is currently less than half the price of SEA and SEA is probably going to rise a little once the deal is finalised, TXN looks like a good buy right now. Add to that whatever Talon may be worth and it can only sweeten the deal even if only a little. And if we get a better offer before it goes through, better still!

In the mean time I can't see TXN dropping much even if the market loses interest without anything to cause excitement. The one for two offer with SEA will maintain TXN's price until the merger happens (unless SEA crashes, which seems very unlikely).

I doubled my TXN holdings yesterday.

Good luck to all! DYOR, blah blah.
