Smart move to reduce holdings to a comfortable level and get back in after you see the movements following the consolidation.
Absolutely no reason for a partner to wait for after the consolidation. This process doesn't make it a better investment.
I doubt this is good for any of us at the moment. For a spec stock it's easier to go from 2.5c to 10c with some good news than it is to go from 62.5c to $2.50. In addition, on no news or bad news, it will probably drop at a greater rate after the consolidation.
