I think there is a lot more complexity to ccl amatil's future than the decline in sugar csds. Although soft drink contributes the majority of earnings ccl is highly diversified with a number of beverage brands. In australia if you drink any form of packaged beverage there is a good chance it will be a ccl brand not to mention multiple alcohol brands, craft beer, grinders coffee and spc.
Sure there are negative thematics but also positive trends as well. We as a population are eating out on an ever increasing basis, which is strongly associated with increased packaged beverage consumption. Our population is also growing strongly. Consumption of packaged beverages is less affected by economic downturns. Potential for Indonesian market is enormous. Lots of positives , good defensive yield. Could do worse out there.
