sigma have been talking about those synergies for years but very few banner group members would say they are pleased with results so far. Many pharmacies buy for example vitamins from CW as they cant access the products at a price anywhere near what they can buy retail from cw. I think the only hope is that suppliers get sick of all the cw co-op and paying for advertising etc and even up the playing field, even just a little.
